Oxidation resistance: Refractories have good thermal shock resistance and slag resistance because they contain carbon, but their disadvantage is that they are easy to oxidize. Once carbon is oxidized, its advantages will disappear. To fully demonstrate the benefits of mid-range magnesia refractories, appropriate additives are often added to improve their oxidation resistance. Metals are used as antioxidants for refractory materials because of their good activity and easy reaction with oxygen, cobalt, aluminum, silicon, magnesium and other elements, and their alloys are often used as antioxidants.

In-situ reaction to generate non-oxide: introducing metal into refractory material, the metal reacts with material components or surrounding gas during the combustion process to form non-metallic reinforced and toughened phases, which improves the matrix's room temperature, high temperature and thermal shock resistance . Now, this skill is widely emphasized.

It can be seen that the addition of metal in the prediction of mid-range magnesia refractories has a vivid effect on the mechanical properties and oxidation resistance of refractories, indicating that mid-range magnesia has broad application prospects in the prediction of refractories. 1. Forming: made of steel plate or hardwood, steel plate finishing agent (oil), waterproof coating on the wood, should not leak, and has good strength.

2. Stirring: Stir with professional equipment, put the materials in the equipment first, take out the additives to join, dry-mix for 2-3 minutes, then add water and stir for 3-5 minutes, add appropriate amount of water.

3. Vibration and tamping: Pour the castable into the mold and tamping immediately without leaking to a certain direction or tamping in the same direction to prevent segregation and opening of the castable. The castable in the water must be mixed and discharged within 20-30 minutes, and the primary condensate must be discarded.

4. Protection: The castable has a dull appearance, and after the strength reaches 70%, the mold can be removed for 24 hours and 48 hours.

5. Oven: According to the thickness of different trademarks and castables and their climatic conditions, users need to guarantee 72 hours of baking time.
